The hostel was surprisingly clean and the staff was really nice and helpful. They cleaned the rooms daily and the onsite cafe and spa were a nice touch. The massage I had there was one of the best I've ever had. The cafe served delicious food and drinks. Another advantage was the location, within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and bars. It was also conveniently close to the airport, making it a great place to stay after a flight.

The only downside I found was that the speaker in the pool area had a short jack cable, making it a bit difficult to enjoy the music while swimming. the stay was too short and I eventually had to leave.

We loved how close this hotel was to the airport, it made our arrival and departure super easy and stress-free. Despite this, the hotel was very quiet and relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and interested in our needs. They even helped us organize our plans and cook free dinners on the weekends!

Additionally, the hotel is situated in a discreet spot in Kuta, allowing for a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Secondly, the service at this hotel is impeccable. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond to accommodate any requests. Thirdly, the basic amenities provided in the rooms are top-notch. I stayed in a dorm room with 1 bathroom per 2 persons, which provided just the right amount of privacy. The ensuite bathrooms were spacious and had 4 showers, ensuring that there was never any wait time. And lastly, the breakfast offered at the hotel was outstanding. The selection was delicious and varied, ensuring that there was something for everyone's taste.

Absolutely no complaints - everything was perfect!

The location was very convenient, close to the main street with lots of options for eating and shopping. The staff were friendly and informative, they even offered complementary breakfast and a discounted spa package. The dorm was clean and spacious with large lockers and curtains for privacy.

The noise level in the common area and pool area was quite high and distracting. the only option for drinking water was to purchase plastic bottles, which were more expensive than buying from the nearby supermarket.

This made my arrival and departure hassle-free, and I had more time to explore the city. the room was spacious and bright, equipped with modern facilities. the staff was extremely friendly and ready to help with anything. the breakfast was delicious and kept me fueled for the day. the hostel had a lovely swimming pool and a gym, and I enjoyed spending some time there after a long day of sightseeing.

I did experience some inconvenience with the Wi-Fi connection, which was slow and unreliable. But, overall, it was a great value for the price and I definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Bali.

I recently stayed at Lokal in Bali for a few days and it was an amazing experience! As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and always remembered my name. The facilities were top-notch, with hot water in the showers , a comfortable bed, and reliable air conditioning. I also loved the pool and chill space, as well as the delicious food served in the cafe. I have already recommended Lokal to my friends for their future stays in Bali.

Absolutely nothing.

The breakfast was delicious and the staff made a big Thanksgiving dinner for the guests, which was lovely. the key location was perfect as it was close to the airport and a convenience store. the hostel had a nice pool which was great for relaxing and getting sun.

Since it's near the airport, people come and go quickly, so you cannot always be sure how many people will be staying the next day. It can be harder to have a good atmosphere where you can meet people as people are always leaving.
